The Result of The Election for regional representatives (March 2006)

The election for regional representatives of the US-JSPS Fellows Alumni Association has concluded. We have new representatives in the Northeast and Southwest regions. Here are all the representatives for the 2006 - 2008 term.

Midwest - Blanca Chattin-Kacouris

Northeast - Jan Zeserson

Southeast - Wael Zatar

Southwest - Arup Neogi

West - Hedong Niu

Soon the regional representatives will gather and form the next executive committee. Then they will select a representative from among themselves to be the chairperson of the executive committee.

Thanks to all the alumni who voted. Nationally, the voter turnout was about 30%. The election committee received support and many good ideas to make future elections better.
